Mother’s Day Gift Wrapping

As someone who always had a close relationship with my mom, Mother’s Day is an incredibly meaningful day for me. It's a day where I can express my love and gratitude for all the ways she has supported me throughout my life. This year, I wanted to do something special for her, so I decided to create my own wrapping paper using pressed flowers and old pictures. I knew this would be a heartfelt and personal way to show her how much she means to me.

In this DIY tutorial, we will show you how to create beautiful and personalised wrapping paper using pressed flowers and old pictures.

 Materials:

·      Pressed flowers

·      White or light-coloured wrapping paper

·      Old family photos

·      Glue or double-sided tape

·      Scissors

·      Ribbon or twine

Step 1: Prepare Your Wrapping Paper

Cut a piece of white or light-coloured wrapping paper to the desired size. You can use plain white paper or even recycled brown paper for a rustic look. Lay the paper flat on a table.

Step 2: Choose Your Pictures

Next, choose some old family photos. It could be a photo of you and your mom or a photo of your mom and her own mother. The photos should be small enough to fit on the wrapping paper.

Step 3: Arrange Your Flowers and Pictures

Now it's time to arrange your flowers and pictures on the wrapping paper. Use glue or double-sided tape to attach the flowers and pictures to the paper. Be creative with your placement and try to create a balanced and visually appealing design.

Step 4: Wrap Your Gift

Once you're happy with the design, wrap your gift as you normally would. Tie a ribbon or twine around the package to complete the look.
